Home Sweet Home

It's been eight months since I moved our offices back to Beacon, and almost six months since the shop has been opened!  How did that happen?  I made it a whopping half year with a twenty five minute commute before Sean and I stumbled upon our new home.  Now, I walk to work with my coffee mug in hand feeling like Mr. Rogers as I say good morning to all of my East Enders along the way.  I love small city living, and I don't know how I'll ever adjust to not being able to walk to the shop (and everything else in Beacon).  Fortunately, I don't have to worry about that for a while, as we've fallen completely in love with our new place...

February 2016 Shop Tour

It's been a while since I've shared some photos of the shop, aside from bits and pieces here and there on Instagram.  I also have this habit of rearranging everything every few weeks, so I can't guarantee that it will look this way next time you stop in.  A few weeks ago, I painted the walls Valspar Ultra White, replacing the beige color that always looked just slightly green to me.  It's such a subtle color change, but the space is visibly brighter.  I also switched out the bulbs to a warmer color and the difference is insane.
